DAY 1: Rome/Pompei/Naples
In the morning pick up the rental car at Rome airport or at Rome Rail Station, then departure for Pompeii to visit the archaeological excavations. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years. In the afternoon you continue to Naples for a stroll along the seafront promenade. Dinner in a local restaurant to taste authentic Neapolitan pizza. Overnight stay at the hotel. Meals included: Dinner.

DAY 2: Capri Island/Naples
In the morning you can walk around the city centre, discovering Piazza del Plebiscito, Palazzo Reale, Galleria Umberto I and Teatro San Carlo. Alternatively, you can go on an excursion to the island of Capri, which the international jet set has made famous ever since the 1950s. Overnight stay at the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast.

DAY 3: Naples/Sorrento/Amalfi Coast
After breakfast you depart from Naples to begin the daydream of the Amalfi Coast. The first stop will be for a walk in Sorrento, the capital of “limoncello”, located on the opposite side of the Gulf of Naples. You will leave for Positano which deserves at least one stop for a photo from above and continue with an inevitable stop in Furore, the nowhere village, suspended between mountain and sea. Your journey continue to Amalfi. Overnight stay at the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast.

DAY 4: Amalfi/Paestum/Benevento
In the morning you can visit Paestum and its Archaeological Park, founded by the Greeks in 600 BC. Now it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your journey continues to Benevento where you can explore the historic city. You can visit the Arch of Trajan, the Church of Santa Sofia and the Museum of Sannio. Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner.

DAY 5: Benevento/Pietrelcina/Benevento
In the morning we continue to Pietrelcina to visit the house where the beloved St. Pio was born.
In the afternoon you can visit Cusano Mutri and Pietraroja, retracing the steps of “Ciro”, the baby dinosaur, unearthed in this locality or Cerreto Sannita, home of the ancient school of ceramists with its Museum of Ceramics. Then you proceed on the Sant’Agata de’ Goti to visit this splendid medieval village. Return to Benevento. Overnight stay at the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast.

DAY 6: Vineyards of Falanghina/Caserta/Rome
In the morning you continue to Foglianise/Torrecuso where you will visit a winery that produces the famous Falanghina, one of the best white wines in the world. Then you continue to Caserta. In the afternoon you will have the opportunity to view the largest Royal Residence in the World which revolutionized world archicteture thanks to the genius of the architect Vanvitelli: UNESCO-listed Reggia di Caserta. Your journey continues to Rome. At the end of the day, drop-off the rental car at Roma Fiumicino Airport or Roma Termini Rail Station. Overnight stay at the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast.

DAY 7: Depart Rome
