From Rome to Rome by train – 9D/8N from 840 €uro

DAY 1: Venice/Verona
This tour starts with the high-speed train journey from Rome Airport to Venice S. Lucia. The journey takes about 5h. Enjoy the sunset on the Lagoon. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2: Venice/Verona
This morning you have free time to visit Venice. You can cruise by launch to the city’s most prominent sights, including views of the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. In the afternoon you continue to Verona, home of Shakespeare’s ill-fated lovers Romeo and Juliet, where you can view Juliet’s balcony. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 3: Verona/Florence

Breakfast at the hotel, then free time to continue exploring Verona or to take advantage of one of the many optional experiences possible. Today you continue to Florence, one of the most culturally rich and beatiful cities in Italy. The Medicis, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello all lived in Florence. In the afternoon you can explore the birthplace of Renaissance. Meals included: Breakfast.

DAY 4: Florence
Breakfast at the hotel, then free day to continue exploring Florence or to take advantage of one of the many optional experiences possible. It is possible to participate in a guided walking tour that includes the symbols of the city or a guided tour of one of the main museums: the Uffizi Galleries or the Accademia Gallery. Alternatively, you can go on half-day or full-day excursions to discover the neighbouring places of interest such as the Chianti district with its world-famous wines or Pisa the city of the Leaning Tower. Overnight stay at the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast.

DAY 5: Florence/Naples
After breakfast at the hotel, you continue to Naples Central Station by high-speed train. The journey takes about 3h. Naples is one of the largest and most enchanting cities of art in the Mediterranean. You cannot miss a walk along the city’s seafront promenade, one of the most loved and popular places for both citizens and tourists. Strolling along Naples’ seafront promenade means admiring at a glance most of the beautiful sights that characterize the city: Vesuvius, the island of Capri, Castel dell’Ovo and the Posillipo promontory. Overnight stay at the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast.

DAY 6: Naples
Breakfast at the hotel, later in the morning you can explore the Amalfi Coast or you can dedicate the day to the guided tour of the archaeological excavations of Pompeii. Alternatively, you can go on an excursion to the island of Capri, which the international jet set has made famous ever since the 1950s. Overnight stay at the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast.

DAY 7: Naples/Rome
After breakfast at the hotel, we board the high-speed train to Roma Termini Station. The journey takes about 1h 15 ‘. Rome is the Great Beauty, an eternal city with millenium story, luxury palazzi, sophisticated art and enigmatic present. Time passes in Rome in another dimension. It is elastic and formless but inspiring and sinful at the same time. We recommend a guided tour of the Vatican Museums or a tour of Ancient Rome. Overnight stay at the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast.

DAY 8: Rome
Breakfast at the hotel, then free day to continue exploring Rome or to take advantage of one of the many optional experiences possible. It is possible to participate in a guided walking tour that reaches the symbols of the city or a guided tour of one of the main attraction.

DAY 9: Depart Rome
Breakfast at the hotel, check-out and end of the tour. As there is so much to see in Rome, we recommend you stay a little longer. We are happy to book additional accommodation for you (subject to availability). Meals included: Breakfast
